Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) An unexpectedly hard shot by Jânio Sanches in the 2nd minute of play forced Encanto's goalkeeper Nico Tasso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Encanto's Nico Tasso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jânio Sanches in the 5th minute of play. Nico Tasso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jânio Sanches went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 7 minutes into the game, Jânio Sanches cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Nico Tasso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jânio Sanches in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nico Tasso saved Encanto from getting behind. In the 16th minute Jânio Sanches shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nico Tasso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Encanto defense, Jânio Sanches kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nico Tasso. The Encanto fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nico Tasso should have stopped the shot. Nico Tasso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jânio Sanches, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldinho Rocha in the 23rd minute of play forced Castanheiro SC's goalkeeper Tales Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nico Tasso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robben Spoelberchs in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute Castanheiro SC were awarded a corner. José Pedro Carneiro went to the cornerflag to take it. Castanheiro SC's José Pedro Carneiro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nico Tasso in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Castanheiro SC's Jânio Sanches in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Encanto's goalie prevented a goal. If Fernando Toscano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tales Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldinho Rocha in the 34th minute of play. Nico Tasso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jânio Sanches, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Jânio Sanches's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nico Tasso was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jânio Sanches in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nico Tasso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jânio Sanches received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Nico Tasso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robben Spoelberchs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 51st minute, Gilberto Lopes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 53 minutes into the match, Encanto's goalkeeper Nico Tasso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jânio Sanches. Robben Spoelberchs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nico Tasso having to make a save. Nico Tasso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robben Spoelberchs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Castanheiro SC's Alfredo Stefano was substituted for Jânio Sanches. Castanheiro SC's 陶渊伟 was substituted for José Pedro Carneiro. After a rather tough play, Castanheiro SC's Luís Prestes got a free kick in the 58th minute. Encanto's Bernardinho Paes quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Elói Maranhense, made in the 62nd minute of the game. After 63 played minutes Encanto got a freekick which was hit by Romeu Mesquita. In the 64th minute, Alfredo Stefano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nico Tasso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. With his leg Nico Tasso managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when Castanheiro SC's Alfredo Stefano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 69th minute, Luís Prestes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 73 minutes had been played when some careless play by Encanto's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alfredo Stefano was slow to take the kick. During this time Castanheiro SC's players had a chance to rest. Giovanny De Leger thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Nico Tasso, a very annoying self made goal in the 73rd minute which led to 0-7. Alfredo Stefano's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nico Tasso firmly grabbed it by the left post. With his leg Nico Tasso managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when Castanheiro SC's Alfredo Stefano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfredo Stefano got free with Nico Tasso in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Castanheiro SC were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after Encanto's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alfredo Stefano took the corner. When Castanheiro SC's Alfredo Stefano in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Encanto's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Encanto booed when Castanheiro SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elói Maranhense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfredo Stefano might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nico Tasso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfredo Stefano ran back to his position shaking his head. 90 minutes into the match, Encanto's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Stefano came free, but Nico Tasso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Adolfo Santana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Castanheiro SC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
