Dito Novaes made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Filomeno De Putter sent off a good shot on target. Cristian Salles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benito Gaufred in the 10th minute of play. After a rather tough play, VARGINHA FC's Otávio Netto got a free kick in the 16th minute. When Triforce Super Soccer's Luiz Paulo de Lima in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye VARGINHA FC's goalie prevented a goal. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by VARGINHA FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Napoleon Tylenda was slow to take the kick. During this time Triforce Super Soccer's players had a chance to rest. Jean-Pascal Croissant struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Dito Novaes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Triforce Super Soccer. A collision led to VARGINHA FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Leonel Ribota hit a great ball. Mauro Galvão's late challenge caught a Triforce Super Soccer's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mauro Galvão helped the player get up and apologised. Napoleon Tylenda shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Luiz Paulo de Lima struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Dito Novaes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Triforce Super Soccer. Napoleon Tylenda came free with the goalkeeper in the 37th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dito Novaes could save by the left post. Cristian Salles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josué Paiva in the 38th minute of play. Filomeno De Putter charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filomeno De Putter the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of VARGINHA FC booed when Triforce Super Soccer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filomeno De Putter didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute of the match, Sandrinho Passos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dito Novaes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of Triforce Super Soccer booed when VARGINHA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcus Tande didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 48th minute of the game. One of VARGINHA FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Triforce Super Soccer:s goal. Triforce Super Soccers' Dito Novaes just managed to throw himself towards the right post in the 49thth minute after Napoleon Tylendas penalty, and stop a certain goal. Triforce Super Soccer were awarded a corner in the 50th minute after VARGINHA FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Napoleon Tylenda took the corner. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

VARGINHA FC made a substitution. Patxi Palenzuela replaced Álvaro Gaspar. The wind increased when Filomeno De Putter made the kick off in the second half. Triforce Super Soccer's Jean-Pascal Croissant quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mauro Galvão, made in the 56th minute of the game. Benito Gaufred received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Cristian Salles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filomeno De Putter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dito Novaes having to interfere. Cristian Salles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benito Gaufred, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After 64 minutes Triforce Super Soccer's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alvin Thedin who took care of the corner kick. Cristian Salles made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Patxi Palenzuela sent off a good shot on target. Filomeno De Putter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Dito Novaes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcus Tande blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristian Salles having to make a save. In the 76th minute, Luiz Paulo de Lima left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Triforce Super Soccer fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After 79 minutes, Filomeno De Putter made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. VARGINHA FC's Dito Novaes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Triforce Super Soccer's Cristian Salles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josué Paiva in the 81st minute of play. Filomeno De Putter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Luiz Paulo de Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Through an outstanding action, after 88 minutes, Cristian Salles successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 90 minutes of play, VARGINHA FC's Patxi Palenzuela made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristian Salles was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Paulo de Lima in the 94th minute of play forced VARGINHA FC's goalkeeper Dito Novaes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Salles was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Josué Paiva showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-2 in the 96 minute of play. When Jean-Pascal Croissant came up free with the goalie in the 99th minute, the Triforce Super Soccer fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jean-Pascal Croissant couldn't finish the play. VARGINHA FC's Dito Novaes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean-Pascal Croissant in the 99th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Triforce Super Soccer fans cheered their team off the field, for while VARGINHA FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
