Lucas Hulk charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucas Hulk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lucas Hulk hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Paul Christini was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Paulinho Penha. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Paul Christini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joseph Joestar in the 93rd minute of play. The Edson Futebol Clube players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Litoral EC - CIMZ from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
