Thomas Ravelli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilson Andrade in the 14th minute of play forced ADM Taquaras's goalkeeper Jeremias Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ADM Taquaras's attentive Malcolm Westerberg managed to snatch the ball when Johannes Stein made a throw-in in the 16th minute of the game. When ADM Taquaras's Denílson Tepedino in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GLADIADORES's goalie prevented a goal. Malcolm Westerberg made in the 34th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Zaquiel Puredo immediately put the ball in play. Jeremias Moreno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilson Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute Denílson Tepedino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Ravelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. GLADIADORES's Thomas Ravelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denílson Tepedino in the 39th minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, GLADIADORES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sérgio Donato to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of GLADIADORES booed when ADM Taquaras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denílson Tepedino didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Denílson Tepedino to make the kick off. If Denílson Tepedino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Wilson Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot. GLADIADORES's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilson Andrade was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeremias Moreno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jeremias Moreno came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by GLADIADORES's Wilson Andrade. But to his dismay, Wilson Andrade quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Wilson Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Jeremias Moreno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ADM Taquaras's Áron Bódog was substituted for Zaquiel Puredo. Denílson Tepedino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Thomas Ravelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Áron Bódog had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thomas Ravelli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Áron Bódog in the 77th minute. 81 minutes into the match, ADM Taquaras's goal looked a bit too open when Anacleto Rozarius came free, but Jeremias Moreno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, ADM Taquaras's Malcolm Westerberg got a free kick in the 88th minute. ADM Taquaras's Leonard Åhman was substituted for Denílson Tepedino. After 88 played minutes ADM Taquaras got a freekick which was hit by Malcolm Westerberg. Áron Bódog who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Thomas Ravelli when he managed to save the team from getting behind. ADM Taquaras played a much better game than GLADIADORES and deserved their victory. The GLADIADORES players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
