Niyazi Derim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiburcio Marques in the 12th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulão Diniz in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fırat Aytekin saved S.C. Corinthians Paulista from getting behind. Tiburcio Marques received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Niyazi Derim came out and tried to block the shot, but Tiburcio Marques slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 23rd minute. 27 minutes into the match, Tiburcio Marques notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Jabaquara SC's Niyazi Derim. Niyazi Derim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jabaquara SC's Niyazi Derim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiburcio Marques in the 30th minute of play. Nildo Rosa was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 34th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Rok Roll fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fırat Aytekin having to interfere. Niyazi Derim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiburcio Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute, S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Tiburcio Marques dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paulão Diniz was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rok Roll in the 51st minute of play forced S.C. Corinthians Paulista's goalkeeper Fırat Aytekin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Niyazi Derim didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when S.C.
