André Luiz Vides started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Daniel Owsiak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio de Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sérgio de Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovani Medeiros in the 5th minute of play. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Geovani Medeiros sped through BMB IMOVEIS SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sérgio de Azevedo. In the 9thth minute of the game Geovani Medeiros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BMB IMOVEIS SC's Sérgio de Azevedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 10th minute of the match S.E.R. Caxias do Sul got a corner. BMB IMOVEIS SC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lei Feng Yan ran over to the corner to take the kick. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by BMB IMOVEIS SC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lei Feng Yan was slow to take the kick. During this time S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Lei Feng Yan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but BMB IMOVEIS SC's Sérgio de Azevedo did a great save. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Lei Feng Yan took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Sérgio de Azevedo to make any attempt to save it. Breno Vergílio was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. When Walmir Lima fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BMB IMOVEIS SC's protests and gave Walmir Lima a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd minute, one of BMB IMOVEIS SC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for BMB IMOVEIS SC. BMB IMOVEIS SC:s Sérgio de Azevedo showed great skill when he stopped Lei Feng Yan:s penalty. Lei Feng Yan scored 4-0 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sérgio de Azevedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 28th match minute, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bai Cheng Kang to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to BMB IMOVEIS SC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Mathias Vidal hit a great ball. Lei Feng Yan's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sérgio de Azevedo firmly grabbed it by the left post. 37 minutes into the match, BMB IMOVEIS SC's goal looked a bit too open when Geovani Medeiros came free, but Sérgio de Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Breno Vergílio in the 39th minute of play forced BMB IMOVEIS SC's goalkeeper Sérgio de Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Emanuel Paranaense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, BMB IMOVEIS SC's Sérgio de Azevedo got control of the ball when Breno Vergílio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sérgio de Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovani Medeiros in the 43rd minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Geovani Medeiros was the one to do the kick off. In the 59th minute Breno Vergílio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio de Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, BMB IMOVEIS SC's goal looked a bit too open when Breno Vergílio came free, but Sérgio de Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Walmir Lima hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, BMB IMOVEIS SC's Flóki van Dam got a free kick in the 64th minute. The supporters of S.E.R. Caxias do Sul booed when BMB IMOVEIS SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathias Vidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovani Medeiros in the 71st minute of play forced BMB IMOVEIS SC's goalkeeper Sérgio de Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mathias Vidal kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the BMB IMOVEIS SC defense, Breno Vergílio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sérgio de Azevedo. The BMB IMOVEIS SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sérgio de Azevedo should have stopped the shot. In the 77th minute Geovani Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio de Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 79 minutes BMB IMOVEIS SC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lei Feng Yan who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's corner Lei Feng Yan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sérgio de Azevedo quite easily take care of the ball. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Geovani Medeiros got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lei Feng Yan in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sérgio de Azevedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. BMB IMOVEIS SC's Sérgio de Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Breno Vergílio in the 88th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Breno Vergílio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Emanuel Paranaense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
