When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Falcão Marques sped through C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Umberto Cruz. Umberto Cruz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Falcão Marques went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. When Adriano Secco fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's protests and gave Adriano Secco a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd match minute, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adriano Secco to maneuver through the defense. When Enio Guerra came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enio Guerra couldn't finish the play. C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rondinone F.C - FDFDF the free kick. In the 28th match minute, C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dieguinho dos Santos to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute, Falcão Marques ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Umberto Cruz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. The supporters of Rondinone F.C - FDFDF booed when C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Umberto Cruz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adalberto Vianna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Umberto Cruz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Umberto Cruz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Falcão Marques in the 44th minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Luiz Paulo Barral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gil dos Santos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Umberto Cruz. C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Júlio Borges kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edu Nogueira to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Paulo Barral to maneuver through the defense. Umberto Cruz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gil dos Santos in the 56th minute. In the 71st minute, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Adalberto Vianna dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-10. After 74 minutes, Falcão Marques mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rondinone F.C - FDFDF and the C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Falcão Marques who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Umberto Cruz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Adalberto Vianna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Falcão Marques slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Umberto Cruz. That made the score 1-12 after 93 minutes of play. 96 minutes into the game, Falcão Marques recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Umberto Cruz. Falcão Marques showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-13.
