Arthur Barbosa started the match with the kick off. Nathaniel Burnett might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dedê Arantes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nathaniel Burnett ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 7th minute Nathaniel Burnett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dedê Arantes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute, Nathaniel Burnett ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dedê Arantes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The supporters of A.D.PADRE MIGUEL booed when Imbituba - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Luís Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Arthur Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of A.D.PADRE MIGUEL booed when Imbituba - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tolek Mochowak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nathaniel Burnett could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Dedê Arantes made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arthur Barbosa in the 25th minute of play forced Imbituba - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Sidney Motta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dedê Arantes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nathaniel Burnett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nathaniel Burnett blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dedê Arantes having to make a save. Dedê Arantes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nathaniel Burnett, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. A.D.PADRE MIGUEL's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Nathaniel Burnett scored to the left of an out of position Dedê Arantes, making the score, 2-0. Dedê Arantes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nathaniel Burnett's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Imbituba - FSCMZ were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after A.D.PADRE MIGUEL's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pedro Luís Fonseca took the corner. Imbituba - FSCMZ's Pedro Luís Fonseca was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dedê Arantes in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as Imbituba - FSCMZ's Nathaniel Burnett slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dedê Arantes. That made the score 3-0 after 39 minutes of play. The supporters of A.D.PADRE MIGUEL booed when Imbituba - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Luís Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute, Berenguer Anda fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Dedê Arantes, passed just outside the right post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nathaniel Burnett to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nathaniel Burnett in the 53rd minute of play forced A.D.PADRE MIGUEL's goalkeeper Dedê Arantes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Imbituba - FSCMZ's Nathaniel Burnett got a free kick in the 55th minute. Dedê Arantes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nathaniel Burnett in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind A.D.PADRE MIGUEL's goalkeeper Dedê Arantes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Imbituba - FSCMZ made a substitution. Válbson Pimenta replaced Berenguer Anda. Imbituba - FSCMZ's Greg Drysdale was substituted for Nathaniel Burnett. In the 69th minute of the match Imbituba - FSCMZ got a corner. A.D.PADRE MIGUEL's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pedro Luís Fonseca ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Pedro Luís Fonseca got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dedê Arantes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 71 minutes of play, Imbituba - FSCMZ's Pedro Luís Fonseca made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dedê Arantes was left in no man's land by his defense there! 85 minutes into the game, Imbituba - FSCMZ's Pedro Luís Fonseca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dedê Arantes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. After 88 minutes of play, Imbituba - FSCMZ's Válbson Pimenta made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dedê Arantes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dedê Arantes came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Imbituba - FSCMZ's Válbson Pimenta. But to his dismay, Válbson Pimenta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. After having played for 93 minutes, Válbson Pimenta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Imbituba - FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Válbson Pimenta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Imbituba - FSCMZ walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
