C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s Umberto Cruz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s zone, Oswaldo Jacinto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Umberto Cruz came out of the goal and Oswaldo Jacinto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of A.D.PADRE MIGUEL booed when C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nando Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Júlio Borges during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Júlio Borges kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After having played for 16 minutes, Enio Guerra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Enio Guerra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Tostão Borges managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Tostão Borges was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eduardo Martins breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Enio Guerra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s Umberto Cruz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tostão Borges in the 32nd minute of play forced A.D.PADRE MIGUEL's goalkeeper Eduardo Martins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Umberto Cruz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Oswaldo Jacinto showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 34 minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 41 minutes, Umberto Cruz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Jaime Dante came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the A.D.PADRE MIGUEL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Dante couldn't finish the play. Oswaldo Jacinto struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Umberto Cruz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.D.PADRE MIGUEL. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Oswaldo Jacinto made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edu Nogueira in the 52nd minute of play forced A.D.PADRE MIGUEL's goalkeeper Eduardo Martins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Haroldo Gregory received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Umberto Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Oswaldo Jacinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arthur Barbosa hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Oswaldo Jacinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Umberto Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute Jaime Dante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Umberto Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edu Nogueira received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eduardo Martins came out and tried to block the shot, but Edu Nogueira slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 72nd minute. Oswaldo Jacinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Umberto Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 86 minutes into the game, A.D.PADRE MIGUEL's Oswaldo Jacinto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Umberto Cruz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Oswaldo Jacinto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Umberto Cruz having to make a save. Edu Nogueiras short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Eduardo Martins to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Eduardo Martins made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edu Nogueira in the 95th minute.
