If Jonas Dracena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonas Dracena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute, Patrick Zanette hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Jonas Dracena managed to get in a good position for a shot. America FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonas Dracena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Umberto Cruz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Umberto Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Dracena, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After 24 minutes of play, America FC's Jonas Dracena made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Umberto Cruz was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonas Dracena in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Umberto Cruz saved C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. from getting behind. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maicon Arruda made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuri Lopez in the 52nd minute of play forced C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s goalkeeper Umberto Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Umberto Cruz was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Arí Silva capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arí Silva really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. In the 60th minute, Tostão Borges hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute, America FC's Jonas Dracena ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Umberto Cruz. Umberto Cruz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-10. 72 minutes in the game, Jonas Dracena fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Umberto Cruz having to interfere. Maicon Arruda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. defense, Maicon Arruda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Umberto Cruz. The C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Umberto Cruz should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, America FC's Jonas Dracena got a free kick in the 77th minute. After 84 minutes of play, America FC's Yuri Lopez made it 0-14 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Umberto Cruz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dieguinho dos Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. When Maicon Arruda came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the America FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maicon Arruda couldn't finish the play. C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Jonas Dracena scored to the left of an out of position Umberto Cruz, making the score, 0-16. The C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. America FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
