In the 3rd minute, Nathaniel Burnett ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Umberto Cruz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 7th play minute Nathaniel Burnett came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Umberto Cruz. 2-0. 12 minutes into the match, Nathaniel Burnett had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Umberto Cruz. C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nathaniel Burnett was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Nathaniel Burnett's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Umberto Cruz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Nathaniel Burnett took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Umberto Cruz. Umberto Cruz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Rogério da Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Umberto Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Umberto Cruz came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Imbituba - FSCMZ's Nathaniel Burnett. But to his dismay, Nathaniel Burnett quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Umberto Cruz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nathaniel Burnett in the 31st minute. If Nathaniel Burnett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A throw-in in the 34th minute of the game was made by Nando Costa with Tostão Borges as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Nathaniel Burnett scored 7-0 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Umberto Cruz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Umberto Cruz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nathaniel Burnett in the 42nd minute. Nathaniel Burnett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 47 minutes C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dani Alves who took care of the corner kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Nathaniel Burnett made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Imbituba - FSCMZ's Nathaniel Burnett nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Umberto Cruz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Nathaniel Burnett scored 9-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Umberto Cruz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rogério da Silva took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Umberto Cruz. Umberto Cruz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. After 62 minutes, Nathaniel Burnett made it 11-0 with a short kick to the right side. C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s Umberto Cruz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Enio Guerra fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s protests and gave Enio Guerra a yellow card for diving instead. In the 66th minute, Enio Guerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Umberto Cruz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Válbson Pimenta went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 12-0 was the resulting score. C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s Edu Nogueira got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 73 minutes into the match, Válbson Pimenta notched a goal, 13-0, to the right of C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s Umberto Cruz. Umberto Cruz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 77 minutes, Válbson Pimenta made it 14-0 with a short kick to the right side. C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s Umberto Cruz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 80 minutes, Válbson Pimenta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Imbituba - FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Válbson Pimenta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Válbson Pimenta in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Umberto Cruz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Válbson Pimenta succeeded in the game's 84th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 15-0. Umberto Cruz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Válbson Pimenta went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 16-0 was the resulting score. In the 95th minute Válbson Pimenta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Umberto Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Imbituba - FSCMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dani Alves in the 96th minute.
