The Oranil fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Téo Koehler should have stopped the shot. Téo Koehler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Velasco in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, Alberto Velasco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Téo Koehler was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When João Augusto da Costa fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Oranil's protests and gave João Augusto da Costa a yellow card for diving instead. Téo Koehler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Velasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A nice corner shot did that Afonsinho Andrade got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Téo Koehler quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 28 played minutes Oranil got a freekick which was hit by João Augusto da Costa. Alberto Velasco scored 0-4 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Téo Koehler, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Oranil's goalkeeper Téo Koehler, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Téo Koehler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brandur Hendrickson in the 37th minute of play. Téo Koehler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Velasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The audience was convinced that Alberto Velasco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Téo Koehler was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. In the 43rd minute of the match Club Sacode Football CIMZ got a corner. Oranil's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Brandur Hendrickson ran over to the corner to take the kick. João Augusto da Costa hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Oranil's zone, Alberto Velasco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Téo Koehler came out of the goal and Alberto Velasco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alberto Velasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Téo Koehler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Velasco in the 47th minute of play forced Oranil's goalkeeper Téo Koehler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alberto Velasco was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Club Sacode Football CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Velasco. When Alberto Velasco got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for Club Sacode Football CIMZ. With a little luck, Oranil's Téo Koehler got control of the ball when Thomás Schmidt tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 57th minute, Alberto Velasco reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Téo Koehler. The goal made the score 0-5. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alberto Velasco in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Téo Koehler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 65 minutes into the match, Oranil's goalkeeper Téo Koehler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Velasco. Alberto Velasco scored 0-6 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Téo Koehler, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The throw-in from Márcio de Azevedo in the 72nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Club Sacode Football CIMZ's Dino Botelho. An unexpected shot in the 73rd minute by Thomás Schmidt got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 74 minutes into the match, Alberto Velasco dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Téo Koehler, 0-7. In the 79th minute, Club Sacode Football CIMZ's Alberto Velasco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Téo Koehler. Téo Koehler yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. Dino Botelho might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Téo Koehler. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dino Botelho ran back to his position shaking his head. Téo Koehler was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alberto Velasco showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-9 in the 84 minute of play. João Augusto da Costa got a throw-in 89 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Aloísio Rossi. After having played for 90 minutes, Alberto Velasco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Sacode Football CIMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Velasco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thomás Schmidt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Téo Koehler read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Club Sacode Football CIMZ's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
