But to his dismay, Nilson Duarte quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 15 played minutes Independente FC got a freekick which was hit by Senon Abravanel. Quilino Colillas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Marquez in the 20th minute of the match. Quilino Colillas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilson Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Nilson Duarte scored 0-3 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Quilino Colillas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sílvio Corrêa took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nando Sena. Nando Sena dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Nilson Duarte scored 1-4 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Quilino Colillas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Eliézer Sarmento fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quebra Ossos FC's protests and gave Eliézer Sarmento a yellow card for diving instead. Eliézer Sarmento kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Marquez in the 45th minute of play forced Quebra Ossos FC's goalkeeper Quilino Colillas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute Luiz Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quilino Colillas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Sílvio Corrêa made the kick off in the second half. If Nilson Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luiz Marquez in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Quilino Colillas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Carlos Fernando de Toledo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Quilino Colillas. Quebra Ossos FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Quilino Colillas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute Luiz Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quilino Colillas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 58 minutes Quebra Ossos FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hudson Toscano who took care of the corner kick. Eliézer Dracena tried in the game's 59th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Quilino Colillas. An annoying self made goal, 1-5. Nilson Duartes short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Quilino Colillas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 73 minutes had been played when some careless play by Quebra Ossos FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hudson Toscano was slow to take the kick. During this time Independente FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Independente FC's corner Hudson Toscano fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Quilino Colillas quite easily take care of the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Nilson Duarte could shoot a difficult shot in the 77th minute, which Quilino Colillas however easily saved by the left post. Nilson Duarte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Quilino Colillas made a huge save. If Luiz Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nilson Duarte's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Quilino Colillas firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 84th match minute, Quebra Ossos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Gustavo de Lima to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute Luiz Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quilino Colillas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute, Senon Abravanel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute of the match Osmar Eger sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nando Sena skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Independente FC's zone, Sílvio Corrêa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nando Sena came out of the goal and Sílvio Corrêa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 95th minute, Nilson Duarte made a precise shot to the right of Quilino Colillas. Quebra Ossos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6.
