The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alfredinho Cavalcante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dobromir Brudnicki, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Granadero10's goal looked a bit too open when Dobromir Brudnicki came free, but Alfredinho Cavalcante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Granadero10 getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Emerson Velasco hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the match, Granadero10's goal looked a bit too open when Talha İstanbul came free, but Alfredinho Cavalcante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dobromir Brudnicki in the 16th minute of play forced Granadero10's goalkeeper Alfredinho Cavalcante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 17 minutes Granadero10's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Talha İstanbul who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of Cöpacabana FC booed when Granadero10 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iwo Kaparelis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfredinho Cavalcante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Talha İstanbul, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Fredrik Masculier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dagoberto Loureiro having to interfere. Granadero10's Alfredinho Cavalcante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Talha İstanbul in the 29th minute of play. In the 35th minute Granadero10 were awarded a corner. Vítor Antunes went to the cornerflag to take it. Talha İstanbul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfredinho Cavalcante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dobromir Brudnicki in the 38th minute of play. Alfredinho Cavalcante stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dobromir Brudnicki's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Alfredinho Cavalcante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vito Leite in the 44th minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Granadero10's goal looked a bit too open when Vito Leite came free, but Alfredinho Cavalcante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Vito Leite made the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Tana Rede hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was a well-played corner which Angelino Gentza managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Dagoberto Loureiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tana Rede in the 55th minute of play. In the 60th minute Vito Leite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredinho Cavalcante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fredrik Masculier got free with Dagoberto Loureiro in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cöpacabana FC's goalkeeper Dagoberto Loureiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cöpacabana FC's Stig-Åke Benet was substituted for Vito Leite. Granadero10's Norberto Simão was substituted for Vítor Antunes. Alfredinho Cavalcante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dobromir Brudnicki in the 76th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Severino Messias got free with Dagoberto Loureiro in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Norberto Simão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dagoberto Loureiro having to interfere. Dagoberto Loureiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norberto Simão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90thth minute of the game Norberto Simão who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cöpacabana FC's Dagoberto Loureiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Cöpacabana FC's goalkeeper Dagoberto Loureiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Severino Messias. Dagoberto Loureiro made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Tana Rede sent off a good shot on target. Dagoberto Loureiro was a little too slow when Emerson Velasco got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 0-1. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Granadero10 had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
