Diguinho Teles started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Velloso came free, but João Carlos Lucas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Velloso in the 8th minute of play forced Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper João Carlos Lucas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute Enéas Carneiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Carlos Lucas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Danone CC were furious when Moisés Linhares was red carded, 13 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 12 minutes into the game, one of Danone CC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Isaltino Couto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amadeu do Nascimento went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Gernando Azevedo might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isaltino Couto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gernando Azevedo ran back to his position shaking his head. Isaltino Couto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gernando Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Los Andes FC - FSCMZ fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Gernando Azevedo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gernando Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. João Carlos Lucas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enéas Carneiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. João Carlos Lucas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Senna in the 35th minute of play. Isaltino Couto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gernando Azevedo went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score.

The wind increased when Gernando Azevedo made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gernando Azevedo in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isaltino Couto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. João Carlos Lucas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Senna in the 54th minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, Geovanni de Alcântara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Danone CC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Andes FC - FSCMZ the free kick. The supporters of Los Andes FC - FSCMZ booed when Danone CC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geovanni de Alcântara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Gustavo Scarpa managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Geovanni de Alcântara in the 72 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Recife in the 75th minute of play forced Danone CC's goalkeeper Isaltino Couto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Recife in the 81st minute of play forced Danone CC's goalkeeper Isaltino Couto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabriel Recife scored 7-0 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isaltino Couto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gustavo Scarpa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaltino Couto having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Andolín Dijk got a free kick in the 93rd minute. 96 minutes into the game, Samuel McQuarrie recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of João Carlos Lucas. Samuel McQuarrie showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 7-1. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
