The corner led to CE LAJEADENSE RS's Anísio Koehler getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 9thth minute of the game Bater Palma who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Goianésia E.C's Norbert Balonek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. CE LAJEADENSE RS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bater Palma in the 10th minute. Mark Faiko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Harry Kane made a huge save. Goianésia E.C's Norbert Balonek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ye Xiang in the 20th minute of play. CE LAJEADENSE RS were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Goianésia E.C's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bater Palma took the corner. Anísio Koehler made a great header on CE LAJEADENSE RS's corner, it was just that Goianésia E.C's Norbert Balonek managed to reach the ball for a save. Norbert Balonek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bater Palma in the 24th minute of the match. Leo Iigo scored 0-2 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Norbert Balonek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Leo Iigo got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 38 minutes into the game, Mark Faiko cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Harry Kane was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Norbert Balonek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Gustavo Siqueira in the 45th minute of play. Mathias Vidal kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bater Palma made a kick off. Harry Kane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Attila Kertész in the 53rd minute of the match. Norbert Balonek made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Bater Palma sent off a good shot on target. Ye Xiang's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Norbert Balonek skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Harry Kane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mark Faiko, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as CE LAJEADENSE RS's Ye Xiang slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Norbert Balonek. That made the score 1-3 after 65 minutes of play. Norbert Balonek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ye Xiang in the 69th minute. The supporters of CE LAJEADENSE RS booed when Goianésia E.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Attila Kertész didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luís Gustavo Siqueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Norbert Balonek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Attila Kertész might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Harry Kane. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Attila Kertész ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bater Palma in the 79th minute of play forced Goianésia E.C's goalkeeper Norbert Balonek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to CE LAJEADENSE RS getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Luís Gustavo Siqueira hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Adalberto Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Goianésia E.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Adalberto Santos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Harry Kane breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Norbert Balonek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bater Palma in the 91st minute of the match. Norbert Balonek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Gustavo Siqueira in the 93rd minute of play. Harry Kane came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Goianésia E.C's Attila Kertész. But to his dismay, Attila Kertész quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. The Goianésia E.C supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching CE LAJEADENSE RS's performance. The match ended with a win for CE LAJEADENSE RS.
