After 15 minutes, Arrigo De Filippo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Goianésia E.C and the Predador Brasiliense MZBR players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 16th match minute, Goianésia E.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arrigo De Filippo to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Predador Brasiliense MZBR getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Jânio Donatello hit a great ball. Octavian Jähnigen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Attila Kertész, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cris Gol in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Norbert Balonek saved Goianésia E.C from getting behind. Norbert Balonek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cris Gol's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Goianésia E.C's Arrigo De Filippo got his second yellow card of the match in the 21st minute. The referee ordered Arrigo De Filippo off the ground. After 21 played minutes Goianésia E.C got a freekick which was hit by Arrigo De Filippo. In the 23rd minute Predador Brasiliense MZBR were awarded a corner. Jânio Donatello went to the cornerflag to take it. The audience was convinced that Cris Gol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Norbert Balonek was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Cris Gol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Predador Brasiliense MZBR's supporters rose to their feet, but Cris Gol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Norbert Balonek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cris Gol who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 45thth minute tested the skills of Norbert Balonek when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cris Gol stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match Tomasz Poniewaz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Octavian Jähnigen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Norbert Balonek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cris Gol in the 60th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jânio Donatello during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Predador Brasiliense MZBR's Jânio Donatello got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Predador Brasiliense MZBR's Willem-Jan Van Hinnendael was substituted for Raúl Palomar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cris Gol in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Norbert Balonek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jânio Donatello took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Norbert Balonek. Norbert Balonek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 85thth minute of the game Lam Baril who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Goianésia E.C's Norbert Balonek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lam Baril struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Norbert Balonek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Predador Brasiliense MZBR. Predador Brasiliense MZBR made a substitution. Pedrinho Salgado replaced Asrın Dirsehan. In the 90thth minute of the game Lam Baril who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Goianésia E.C's Norbert Balonek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Norbert Balonek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lam Baril, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Norbert Balonek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lam Baril in the 95th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Goianésia E.C players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Predador Brasiliense MZBR.
