Júlio Porto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedrinho Castro in the 6th minute of play. Fúria Futebol Clube's Júlio Porto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yuri Tutorskiy in the 7th minute of play. After having played for 12 minutes, Yuri Tutorskiy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nitra FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yuri Tutorskiy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Sílvio Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fúria Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Sílvio Cruz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jerônimo Maranhense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Júlio Porto came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Nitra FC's Yuri Tutorskiy. But to his dismay, Yuri Tutorskiy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 21st minute, Charles Pimenta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nitra FC's Jerônimo Maranhense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Gustavo Carvalho in the 22nd minute of play. Inácio Mesquita's late challenge caught a Nitra FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Inácio Mesquita helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Nitra FC booed when Fúria Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inácio Mesquita didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedrinho Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Júlio Porto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yuri Tutorskiy, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Fúria Futebol Clube's Júlio Porto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nando Pinho in the 38th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Yuri Tutorskiy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 44 minutes into the match, Yuri Tutorskiy notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Fúria Futebol Clube's Júlio Porto. Júlio Porto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Jerônimo Maranhense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Gustavo Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Durval Rossi made a great header on Fúria Futebol Clube's corner, it was just that Nitra FC's Jerônimo Maranhense managed to reach the ball for a save. Yuri Tutorskiy succeeded in the game's 61st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-4. If Yuri Tutorskiy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Yuri Tutorskiy might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Júlio Porto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yuri Tutorskiy ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Fúria Futebol Clube's Hortêncio Fernandes got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Frank Campidelis hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute, Nitra FC's Pedrinho Castro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Júlio Porto. Júlio Porto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. The supporters of Nitra FC booed when Fúria Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franklin Alves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yuri Tutorskiy's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 79thth minute, Júlio Porto skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 80 minutes into the match, Fúria Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrinho Castro came free, but Júlio Porto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Júlio Porto made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Pedrinho Castro sent off a good shot on target. If Yuri Tutorskiy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alberto Soares kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After having played for 96 minutes, Pedrinho Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nitra FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedrinho Castro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nitra FC played a much better game than Fúria Futebol Clube and deserved their victory. The Fúria Futebol Clube players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
