When Valdir de Senna fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fúria Futebol Clube's protests and gave Valdir de Senna a yellow card for diving instead. In the 5th match minute, Fúria Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdir de Senna to maneuver through the defense. Erasmo Cardoso did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Júlio Porto 7 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Fúria Futebol Clube defense, Erasmo Cardoso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Júlio Porto. The Fúria Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Júlio Porto should have stopped the shot. Fúria Futebol Clube's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Erasmo Cardoso scored to the left of an out of position Júlio Porto, making the score, 3-0. Alberto Soares made in the 26th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Franklin Alves however managed to control. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erasmo Cardoso in the 27th minute of play forced Fúria Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Júlio Porto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Erasmo Cardoso notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Fúria Futebol Clube's Júlio Porto. Júlio Porto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Erasmo Cardoso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Júlio Porto made a huge save. After 40 played minutes ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ got a freekick which was hit by Erasmo Cardoso. In the 40th minute, ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Erasmo Cardoso fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal, but it hit the crossbar and went out into the crowd. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erasmo Cardoso made a kick off. In the 55th match minute, Fúria Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Soares to maneuver through the defense. Júlio Porto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasmo Cardoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Fúria Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Alberto Soares hit a great ball. Erasmo Cardoso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Júlio Porto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Júlio Porto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erasmo Cardoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Júlio Porto came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Erasmo Cardoso. But to his dismay, Erasmo Cardoso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Erasmo Cardoso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Júlio Porto having to make a save. Júlio Porto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Cardoso in the 70th minute of play. Erasmo Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, one of Fúria Futebol Clube:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fúria Futebol Clube. Júlio Porto had in the 75thth minute some difficulties stopping Kaká Senna's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Leandro Trancoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Júlio Porto came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Erasmo Cardoso. But to his dismay, Erasmo Cardoso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. In the 83rd minute, Erasmo Cardoso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. In the 86th minute, Erasmo Cardoso made a precise shot to the right of Júlio Porto. Fúria Futebol Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 11-0. After 90 played minutes Fúria Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Soares. Erasmo Cardoso struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Júlio Porto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙. Fúria Futebol Clube's Júlio Porto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Cardoso in the 97th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ had played much better football throughout.
