The supporters of Nitra FC booed when Mineiros Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artem Savin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Mineiros Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrinho Castro came free, but Marcus de Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 10 played minutes Mineiros Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Souza. Williams Ferrari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jerônimo Maranhense made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robin von Gyldenfeldt in the 19th minute. Wallace Randall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerônimo Maranhense having to interfere. Mazinho Mendonça recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jerônimo Maranhense made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Robin von Gyldenfeldt sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Mineiros Esporte Clube booed when Nitra FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Williams Ferrari didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wallace Randall could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Jerônimo Maranhense made a huge save. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Robin von Gyldenfeldt sped through Nitra FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jerônimo Maranhense. Isidro Fagildo's late challenge caught a Nitra FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isidro Fagildo helped the player get up and apologised. Isidro Fagildo hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. José Pedro Sousa hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After having played for 47 minutes, Robin von Gyldenfeldt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mineiros Esporte Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robin von Gyldenfeldt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yuri Tutorskiy was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Mineiros Esporte Clube's Robin von Gyldenfeldt got a free kick in the 55th minute. Nitra FC's Jerônimo Maranhense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robin von Gyldenfeldt in the 56th minute of play. When Mazinho Mendonça came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Mineiros Esporte Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mazinho Mendonça couldn't finish the play. The Mineiros Esporte Clube fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Mineiros Esporte Clube's Robin von Gyldenfeldt looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Robin von Gyldenfeldt put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jerônimo Maranhense. 64 minutes into the game, Mineiros Esporte Clube's Robin von Gyldenfeldt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jerônimo Maranhense made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. After 73 minutes, Robin von Gyldenfeldt made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. Nitra FC's Jerônimo Maranhense tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jerônimo Maranhense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robin von Gyldenfeldt in the 77th minute of play. With a little luck, Mineiros Esporte Clube's Marcus de Godoi got control of the ball when Yuri Tutorskiy tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bruninho Seco got a throw-in 84 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Klas Harlén. In the 94th minute, Gogo Eneko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jerônimo Maranhense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wallace Randall in the 95th minute of the match. In the 97th minute Mineiros Esporte Clube were awarded a corner. Mazinho Mendonça went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Mineiros Esporte Clube's Artem Savin to fire away a dangerous shot which Jerônimo Maranhense despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 98th minute of the match Mineiros Esporte Clube got a corner. Nitra FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mazinho Mendonça ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Artem Savin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Nitra FC's Jerônimo Maranhense did a great save. When the referee ended the match the Mineiros Esporte Clube players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
