Charles Pimenta went to the cornerflag to take it. Yuri Tutorskiy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Marcus de Godoi made a huge save. Bruninho Seco made in the 40th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Klas Harlén immediately put the ball in play. Mazinho Mendonça got in the 41st a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Jerônimo Maranhense handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After 57 minutes of play, Mineiros Esporte Clube's Robin von Gyldenfeldt made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
