The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gavril Bucur stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gavril Bucur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Carlos Augusto Arósio made a huge save. The supporters of BOTAFOGO booed when Zemantauskas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugênio Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zemantauskas FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
