The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 5th minute of the game. One of BOTAFOGO:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS:s goal. The referee gave BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS a penalty, 8 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Dráuzio Pinho, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of BOTAFOGO's Adalberto Breckenfeld. 1-0. BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS's William Leme got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS's Durval Marinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kauan Melo in the 21st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toninho Madureira in the 24th minute of play forced BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS's goalkeeper Durval Marinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. William Leme who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Adalberto Breckenfeld when he managed to save the team from getting behind. William Leme could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Adalberto Breckenfeld made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in BOTAFOGO's zone, William Leme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adalberto Breckenfeld came out of the goal and William Leme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Bruno de Castro hit a great ball. Kauan Melo struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Durval Marinho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BOTAFOGO. BOTAFOGO's Adalberto Breckenfeld proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save BOTAFOGO from getting a goal against them. Adalberto Breckenfeld made an important save on a dangerous shot by William Leme in the 47th minute.

Toninho Madureira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Durval Marinho made a huge save. André Luiz Bezerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When William Leme fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS's protests and gave William Leme a yellow card for diving instead. BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS's Durval Marinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilmar Correia in the 62nd minute of play. Durval Marinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaanek Oese, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. A collision led to BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Ezequiel Pernambucano hit a great ball. In the 74th minute BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS were awarded a corner. Dráuzio Pinho went to the cornerflag to take it. Dráuzio Pinho made a great header on BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS's corner, it was just that BOTAFOGO's Adalberto Breckenfeld managed to reach the ball for a save. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that William Leme couldn't finish the play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
