With an all-out effort, Until Five's Ulysses Novaes threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cristiano Lago, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Cristiano Lago sped through Calopsita EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ulysses Novaes. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Semih Şentürk to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Calopsita EC booed when Until Five was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dedê Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristiano Lago's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ulysses Novaes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Calopsita EC's zone, Carlos Saúl Recalde stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulysses Novaes came out of the goal and Carlos Saúl Recalde tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristiano Lago in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ulysses Novaes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 74 minutes into the match, Cristiano Lago notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Calopsita EC's Ulysses Novaes. Ulysses Novaes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Until Five's Yan Peixoto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Until Five from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristiano Lago in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ulysses Novaes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cristiano Lago recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Saúl Recalde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ulysses Novaes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Lago in the 85th minute of play. If Anak Dewa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the match, Until Five's Cristiano Lago sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ulysses Novaes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ulysses Novaes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Lago in the 94th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Calopsita EC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Saúl Recalde came free, but Ulysses Novaes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Until Five's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
