After 4 minutes, Kauã Félix mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Capri FC and the Arsenal de Gols F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 5th minute of the match Krisztián Kormos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vitinho Cunha skillfully saved the ball. In the 12th match minute, Capri FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno das Neves to maneuver through the defense. Elias Siqueira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vitinho Cunha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Capri FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Krisztián Kormos was slow to take the kick. During this time Arsenal de Gols F.C's players had a chance to rest. 18 minutes into the game, Elias Siqueira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Vitinho Cunha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Capri FC's zone, Elias Siqueira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vitinho Cunha came out of the goal and Elias Siqueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 27 minutes into the game, Elias Siqueira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Vitinho Cunha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 30th minute, Elias Siqueira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vitinho Cunha was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Marcelo Gröhe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felippe Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Elias Siqueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Vitinho Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bruno das Neves hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 51st minute, Elias Siqueira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arsenal de Gols F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. After some careless play in the Arsenal de Gols F.C defense, Pankracy Warka kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelo Gröhe. Raimundo Alvarenga ran back to his position shaking his head. Vitinho Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Alvarenga, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 87th minute, Bruno das Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 92 minutes into the match, Pedrão Perez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcelo Gröhe. Arsenal de Gols F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedrão Perez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Mané Peixoto struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Marcelo Gröhe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Capri FC. The Arsenal de Gols F.C supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Arsenal de Gols F.C would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
