Mamutes EC were awarded a corner in the 6th minute after Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Valério Meireles took the corner. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Edu França got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-1. 7 minutes into the match. Dave Panno might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raphael Dantas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dave Panno ran back to his position shaking his head. Raphael Dantas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dave Panno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute, Dave Panno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mamutes EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Raphael Dantas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dave Panno in the 17th minute of the match. Raphael Dantas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dave Panno, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After some careless play in the Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- defense, Dave Panno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raphael Dantas. The Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raphael Dantas should have stopped the shot. When Dave Panno came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Mamutes EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dave Panno couldn't finish the play. When Amadeu Rocha fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mamutes EC's protests and gave Amadeu Rocha a yellow card for diving instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dave Panno made a kick off. Dave Panno struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Raphael Dantas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mamutes EC. Simo Mihklisaar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raphael Dantas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dave Panno, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Dave Panno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raphael Dantas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Tony Thanos was substituted for Simo Mihklisaar. Raphael Dantas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dave Panno, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Mamutes EC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Valério Meireles in the 81st minute. Amadeu Rocha was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Raphael Dantas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- from getting a goal against them. In the 89th minute, Mauro Quirino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mamutes EC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
