Falcão Sampaio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Falcão Sampaio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Chico Donato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquin Xacintu in the 9th minute of play. In the 15th minute José Augusto Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Falcão Sampaio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Falcão Sampaio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Lopes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, José Augusto Lara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Falcão Sampaio. Grentino FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that José Augusto Lara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After some careless play in the Grentino FC defense, Olivier Gilg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Falcão Sampaio. The Grentino FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Falcão Sampaio should have stopped the shot. 27 minutes into the match, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goalkeeper Chico Donato had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gualter Sampaio. Falcão Sampaio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Augusto Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Falcão Sampaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Carrier in the 32nd minute of the match. Grentino FC's Falcão Sampaio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Augusto Lara in the 33rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that José Augusto Lara's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Falcão Sampaio was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Grentino FC's zone, Roberto Lopes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Falcão Sampaio came out of the goal and Roberto Lopes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. José Augusto Lara took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Falcão Sampaio. Falcão Sampaio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. 42 minutes into the match, Grentino FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Lopes came free, but Falcão Sampaio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Froilan Calvino charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Froilan Calvino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Grentino FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Froilan Calvino hit a great ball. Délio Furtado kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when José Augusto Lara made the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes of play, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Christian Carrier made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Falcão Sampaio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Falcão Sampaio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Lopes in the 58th minute of play. Falcão Sampaio made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Olivier Gilg sent off a good shot on target. Chico Donato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erasmo Simão, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 64 minutes into the match, Roberto Lopes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Falcão Sampaio, 0-7. Falcão Sampaio made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when José Augusto Lara sent off a good shot on target. 78 minutes into the match, Grentino FC's goalkeeper Falcão Sampaio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roberto Lopes. Grentino FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Roberto Lopes 79 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-9. 83 minutes into the match, Grentino FC's goalkeeper Falcão Sampaio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Augusto Lara. In the 84th minute Niculae Martinescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Falcão Sampaio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erasmo Simão in the 86th minute of play forced DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goalkeeper Chico Donato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roberto Lopes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Falcão Sampaio made a huge save. 91 minutes into the match, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquin Xacintu came free, but Chico Donato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Wilton do Valle got a free kick in the 94th minute. When the match was over DIPLOMATA FC PAB could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Grentino FC throughout the match.
