Alan do Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilian Motta in the 17th minute of the match. Bartlomiej Niziolek who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Alan do Vale when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 23 minutes, Gugu Neves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Botafogo AP and the TOP™ - Nairoby players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gugu Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After 25 played minutes TOP™ - Nairoby got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Goiano. Jacinto Goiano charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacinto Goiano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gugu Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilian Motta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alan do Vale having to make a save. After some careless play in the Botafogo AP defense, Bebeto Moreno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alan do Vale. The Botafogo AP fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alan do Vale should have stopped the shot. TOP™ - Nairoby's Eurico de Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save TOP™ - Nairoby from getting a goal against them. In the 68th minute Bebeto Moreno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alan do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ademir de Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eurico de Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by René Houseman in the 72nd minute. In the 75th of the match, Gugu Simões tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Eurico de Amorim got in the way and made a wonderful save. René Houseman might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eurico de Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. René Houseman ran back to his position shaking his head. Botafogo AP made a substitution. Jânio Abreu replaced Gugu Neves. 81 minutes into the match, Botafogo AP's goal looked a bit too open when Bebeto Moreno came free, but Alan do Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Botafogo AP were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after TOP™ - Nairoby's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ademir de Almeida took the corner. The corner ended in Ademir de Almeida almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but TOP™ - Nairoby's Eurico de Amorim did a great save. Fritz Ernst Joinvilenses short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Eurico de Amorim to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a little luck, TOP™ - Nairoby's Eurico de Amorim got control of the ball when Fritz Ernst Joinvilense tried to sneak it across the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Ademir de Almeida got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Eurico de Amorim quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Botafogo AP had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
