Alan do Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vlad Chiriță in the 4th minute of the match. If René Houseman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 8th minute Modesto Zuasnabar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alan do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Modesto Zuasnabar sped through Botafogo AP's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alan do Vale. Ademir de Almeida came free with the goalkeeper in the 12th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Paşa Nada could save by the left post. Vlad Chiriță might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alan do Vale. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vlad Chiriță ran back to his position shaking his head. 18 minutes into the match, Fenato futebol clube's goal looked a bit too open when René Houseman came free, but Paşa Nada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. René Houseman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 23rd minute Vlad Chiriță shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alan do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. René Houseman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paşa Nada having to make a save. 28 minutes into the match, René Houseman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paşa Nada. Fenato futebol clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that René Houseman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 31 minutes into the match, Botafogo AP's goal looked a bit too open when Modesto Zuasnabar came free, but Alan do Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paşa Nada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ademir de Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. The supporters of Fenato futebol clube booed when Botafogo AP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. René Houseman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 39 minutes Botafogo AP's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Walmyr Madureira who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Fenato futebol clube's Vlad Chiriță getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Alan do Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Modesto Zuasnabar in the 42nd minute of the match. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vlad Chiriță made a kick off. Modesto Zuasnabar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alan do Vale having to make a save. In the 54th minute, Gugu Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alan do Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Modesto Zuasnabar in the 55th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Modesto Zuasnabar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alan do Vale was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by René Houseman in the 59th minute of play forced Fenato futebol clube's goalkeeper Paşa Nada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alan do Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vlad Chiriță, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Fenato futebol clube's Modesto Zuasnabar got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Botafogo AP getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Carlos Eduardo Furlan hit a great ball. Alan do Vale came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Fenato futebol clube's Vlad Chiriță. But to his dismay, Vlad Chiriță quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Alan do Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Modesto Zuasnabar, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Alan do Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Modesto Zuasnabar in the 72nd minute of play. A hard shot 73 in the game by Vlad Chiriță from a close distance when the talented Alan do Vale managed to make a qualified save. Botafogo AP's players were relieved. After 75 minutes Botafogo AP's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Walmyr Madureira who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Fenato futebol clube's corner Fabiano Di Rocco fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alan do Vale quite easily take care of the ball. In the 75th minute, Fabiano Di Rocco made a precise shot to the right of Alan do Vale. Botafogo AP's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Botafogo AP's Jânio Abreu was substituted for Gugu Neves. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Botafogo AP's goalkeeper Alan do Vale, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 83 minutes into the game, Vlad Chiriță recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alan do Vale. Vlad Chiriță showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. Fenato futebol clube's Modesto Zuasnabar was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 87th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Vlad Chiriță recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match was over Fenato futebol clube could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Botafogo AP throughout the match.
