After having played for 10 minutes, Teofilo Yerro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gremengo FCCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teofilo Yerro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 12th match minute, THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nunez Ler to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ's zone, Leonardo Macedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Magne Allbom came out of the goal and Leonardo Macedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ's Magne Allbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Gere in the 18th minute of play. Magne Allbom came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Gremengo FCCMZ's Richard Gere. But to his dismay, Richard Gere quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Gremengo FCCMZ's Richard Gere was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 31st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. With a little luck, THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ's Magne Allbom got control of the ball when Teobald Pazura tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jerry Nolan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Edinho Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Magne Allbom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofilo Yerro in the 46th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teofilo Yerro was the one to do the kick off. Magne Allbom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofilo Yerro, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. The supporters of THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ booed when Gremengo FCCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marinho Perez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edinho Neto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerry Nolan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute Sydney Quirino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magne Allbom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A throw-in in the 92nd minute of the game was made by Ye Xiang Zheng with Felipe Bittencourt as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Gremengo FCCMZ were victorious despite being under pressure from THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ for much of the match.
