In the 10th minute Ermano Villahoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kjell Sjöö saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Sport Club Cevada's goalkeeper Apostolis Porros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Piearres Holgado. 18 minutes into the match, Sport Club Cevada's goalkeeper Apostolis Porros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erik Vihonský. In the 24th minute of the match Sport Club Cevada got a corner. Curiphila Eagles's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Chu Yun Xi ran over to the corner to take the kick. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Apostolis Porros successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Apostolis Porros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Piearres Holgado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Piearres Holgado in the 32nd minute of play forced Sport Club Cevada's goalkeeper Apostolis Porros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lúcio Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apostolis Porros having to interfere. A hard shot 38 in the game by Erik Vihonský from a close distance when the talented Apostolis Porros managed to make a qualified save. Sport Club Cevada's players were relieved. 41 minutes into the match, Curiphila Eagles's goal looked a bit too open when Kaká Batista came free, but Kjell Sjöö reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Sport Club Cevada getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Kaká Batista hit a great ball. In the 45th minute of the match, Lúcio Sá tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Apostolis Porros saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ermano Villahoz to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Curiphila Eagles's Kjell Sjöö got control of the ball when Ermano Villahoz tried to sneak it across the goal line. 52 minutes into the match, Sport Club Cevada's Ermano Villahoz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kjell Sjöö narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 53 minutes Curiphila Eagles's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Chu Yun Xi who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Chu Yun Xi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Curiphila Eagles's Kjell Sjöö did a great save. Apostolis Porros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khaidir Sopandi in the 56th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lúcio Sá in the 59th minute of play forced Sport Club Cevada's goalkeeper Apostolis Porros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 60 minutes of play, Curiphila Eagles's Lúcio Sá made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Apostolis Porros was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaká Batista in the 66th minute of play forced Curiphila Eagles's goalkeeper Kjell Sjöö to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Sport Club Cevada's goal looked a bit too open when Lúcio Sá came free, but Apostolis Porros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sport Club Cevada's Raphael Martins got a free kick in the 68th minute. Curiphila Eagles made a substitution. Nico Cunha replaced 尤奕景. Raphael Martins hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After 72 minutes, Lúcio Sá mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Curiphila Eagles and the Sport Club Cevada players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 72 played minutes Curiphila Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Lúcio Sá. After some careless play in the Sport Club Cevada defense, Khaidir Sopandi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Apostolis Porros. The Sport Club Cevada fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Apostolis Porros should have stopped the shot. Curiphila Eagles's Téo Vianna was substituted for Vince Van Hooveldt. Apostolis Porros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nico Cunha in the 80th minute of play. Kjell Sjöö came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Sport Club Cevada's Kaká Batista. But to his dismay, Kaká Batista quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. 89 minutes into the match, Sport Club Cevada's goal looked a bit too open when Piearres Holgado came free, but Apostolis Porros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sport Club Cevada's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
