Edinho Neto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erik Vihonský in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobald Pazura in the 13th minute of play forced Curiphila Eagles's goalkeeper Kjell Sjöö to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute Teofilo Yerro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kjell Sjöö saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Gremengo FCCMZ getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Richard Gere hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Piearres Holgado in the 28th minute of play forced Gremengo FCCMZ's goalkeeper Edinho Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edinho Neto made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Erik Vihonský sent off a good shot on target. After 30 played minutes Curiphila Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Vides. Leonardo Macedo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 31st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Edinho Neto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Piearres Holgado, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Gremengo FCCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Khaidir Sopandi came free, but Edinho Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Teofilo Yerro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kjell Sjöö. Curiphila Eagles's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teofilo Yerro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teofilo Yerro made a kick off. The corner led Gremengo FCCMZ's Leonardo Macedo to fire away a dangerous shot which Kjell Sjöö despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience was convinced that Teofilo Yerro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kjell Sjöö was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. In the 61st minute of the game 狄珂益 made a throw-in which Vince Van Hooveldt played forward. Edinho Neto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Vihonský, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. If Richard Gere had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Curiphila Eagles's Nico Cunha was substituted for 尤奕景. 72 minutes into the match, Gremengo FCCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Lúcio Sá came free, but Edinho Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Richard Gere could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Kjell Sjöö made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Curiphila Eagles's zone, Sydney Quirino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kjell Sjöö came out of the goal and Sydney Quirino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Curiphila Eagles made a substitution. Waldir de Amaral replaced Cristian Vides. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sydney Quirino got free with Kjell Sjöö in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 88th match minute, Gremengo FCCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinícius de Brito to maneuver through the defense. Edinho Neto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Reis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Richard Gere received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Kjell Sjöö tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sydney Quirino kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
