An unexpectedly hard shot by Demis Son in the 22nd minute of play forced São Paulo F.C.'s goalkeeper Pedro Paulo de Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the São Paulo F.C. defense, Cirilo Lefebre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Paulo de Azevedo. The São Paulo F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Paulo de Azevedo should have stopped the shot. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, BOTAFOGOJF-FDFDF's Hermínio Massa got a free kick in the 74th minute. Pedro Paulo de Azevedo made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Vilmar Heidemann sent off a good shot on target. In the 81st minute, Livio Prieto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute, Vilmar Heidemann ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Paulo de Azevedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Co Vid kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, São Paulo F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Thiago Paraense came free, but Pedro Paulo de Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Attila Keserű stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Zhuo Fei Kun. 1-4. The crowd rose to their feet as BOTAFOGOJF-FDFDF's 周威翔 slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pedro Paulo de Azevedo. That made the score 1-5 after 98 minutes of play.
