The audience thought a goal was coming when Valdir Garcia got free with Rogério Paraense in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nilson do Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavinho Rosado in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavinho Rosado in the 10th minute of play forced Bandelocos's goalkeeper Nilson do Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 13 played minutes Bandelocos got a freekick which was hit by Battal Cüneyt İlbaşı. 14 minutes into the match, Bandelocos's goal looked a bit too open when Flavinho Rosado came free, but Nilson do Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner ended in Germano Souza almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bandelocos's Nilson do Vale did a great save. Billy Dowdall hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Rogério Paraense stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valdir Garcia's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. 1-0 became the score in the 38th minute when Valdir Garcia elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Luiz Guilherme Varela's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rogério Paraense was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. After 44 minutes, Bayındır Mehmet Şahdar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zandarin FC and the Bandelocos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bayındır Mehmet Şahdar was shown his second yellow card after 50 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valdir Garcia in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rogério Paraense saved Zandarin FC from getting behind. Battal Cüneyt İlbaşı kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Zandarin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Guilherme Varela came free, but Rogério Paraense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Bandelocos's Maurinho Vargas got a free kick in the 62nd minute. A collision led to Bandelocos getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Valdir Garcia hit a great ball. 64 minutes into the match, Zandarin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Guilherme Varela came free, but Rogério Paraense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Flavinho Rosado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Bandelocos's Léo de Andrade got a free kick in the 77th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Zandarin FC's Flavinho Rosado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nilson do Vale narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luís Gustavo Urbano hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Bandelocos's Claudinei Nascimento managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Severino Favoretto in the 83 minute of the game. Rogério Paraense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdir Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Zandarin FC booed when Bandelocos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Guilherme Varela didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Bandelocos fans cheered their team off the field, for while Zandarin FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
