Carrapichel - FDFDF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Giovanni Massa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Kléberson Loureiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 11th minute, Oswaldo Talavera ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Váldson Alagoano was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Váldson Alagoano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jon Loarte went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Weverton Pras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedrão Senta in the 22nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Carrapichel - FDFDF's zone, Jon Loarte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Váldson Alagoano came out of the goal and Jon Loarte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdo Prado in the 28th minute of play forced Carrapichel - FDFDF's goalkeeper Váldson Alagoano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute Jon Loarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Váldson Alagoano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amílton Andrade hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Valdo Prado took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Váldson Alagoano. Váldson Alagoano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Váldson Alagoano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oswaldo Talavera, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Váldson Alagoano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oswaldo Talavera's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Leon Sport Club's zone, Zézinho Amaral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Weverton Pras came out of the goal and Zézinho Amaral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Weverton Pras stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zézinho Amaral's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. 65 minutes into the match, Carrapichel - FDFDF's goal looked a bit too open when Jon Loarte came free, but Váldson Alagoano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leon Sport Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jon Loarte in the 66th minute. After some careless play in the Carrapichel - FDFDF defense, Valdo Prado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Váldson Alagoano. The Carrapichel - FDFDF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Váldson Alagoano should have stopped the shot. Leon Sport Club's Davi Alexandridis was substituted for Giovanni Massa. 78 minutes into the game, João Francisco Paulista was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carrapichel - FDFDF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leon Sport Club the free kick. Leon Sport Club's Rodriguinho Perez was substituted for Aldas Balūzis.
