The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute Luiz Fernando de Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrício Negri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dinamo Colorado's Clemente Abraão got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davi Lamonica in the 6th minute of play forced WAU team's goalkeeper Benjamim Nunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benjamim Nunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davi Lamonica in the 14th minute of the match. A collision led to Dinamo Colorado getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Cristian Novaes hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luiz Fernando de Toledo in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabrício Negri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. WAU team's Benjamim Nunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davi Lamonica in the 27th minute of play. After 28 played minutes WAU team got a freekick which was hit by Rony de Andrade. In the 35th minute of the match WAU team got a corner. Dinamo Colorado's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luiz Fernando de Toledo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Luiz Fernando de Toledo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Dinamo Colorado's Fabrício Negri did a great save. If Davi Lamonica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benjamim Nunes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Davi Lamonica's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Fabrício Negri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Fernando de Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 47th minute, Diamantino Freitas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luiz Fernando de Toledo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Jorginho Novaes notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Dinamo Colorado's Fabrício Negri. Fabrício Negri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rony de Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 58th minute of the match, Ronald Narusson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Benjamim Nunes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Dinamo Colorado were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after WAU team's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nelson Pinho took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Dorian Gerber heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 71st minute Paulo Paiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrício Negri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Clemente Abraão came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Dinamo Colorado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clemente Abraão couldn't finish the play. Dinamo Colorado made a substitution. Rivaldo Dez replaced Clemente Abraão. Fabrício Negri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fernando de Toledo in the 76th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in WAU team's zone, Cezary Laba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamim Nunes came out of the goal and Cezary Laba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luiz Fernando de Toledo struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Fabrício Negri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for WAU team. Benjamim Nunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davi Lamonica in the 86th minute of play. In the 88th match minute, Dinamo Colorado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cezary Laba to maneuver through the defense. 93 minutes into the match, WAU team's goal looked a bit too open when Davi Lamonica came free, but Benjamim Nunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
