Benjamim Nunes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Davi Lamonica in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute, Rivaldo Dez made a precise shot to the right of Benjamim Nunes. WAU team's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Dinamo Colorado's zone, Luiz Fernando de Toledo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabrício Negri came out of the goal and Luiz Fernando de Toledo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dinamo Colorado's attentive Diamantino Catarinense managed to snatch the ball when Renan Fantini made a throw-in in the 30th minute of the game. Benjamim Nunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davi Lamonica in the 36th minute of the match. Fabrício Negri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Paiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Diamantino Catarinense charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diamantino Catarinense the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th match minute, Dinamo Colorado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diamantino Catarinense to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luiz Fernando de Toledo to make the kick off. In the 76th match minute, WAU team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Prado to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute Davi Lamonica shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamim Nunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to WAU team getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Renan Fantini hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, WAU team's Jorginho Novaes got a free kick in the 94th minute. 96 minutes into the match, WAU team's goal looked a bit too open when Davi Lamonica came free, but Benjamim Nunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
