Estrela Solitária's Guilherme Peixoto quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Guga Matorin, made in the 2nd minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hafiz Nusri got free with Benjamim Dante in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benjamim Dante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hafiz Nusri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Sandrinho Hoffmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 8 minutes into the match, Cachorrada's goal looked a bit too open when Sandrinho Hoffmann came free, but Nicolas Prata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benjamim Dante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Segundo Tavio in the 13th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Estrela Solitária's goal looked a bit too open when Segundo Tavio came free, but Benjamim Dante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benjamim Dante stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hafiz Nusri's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute of the match Cachorrada got a corner. Estrela Solitária's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Guga Matorin ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dominic Ramjohn got free with Benjamim Dante in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Sandrinho Hoffmann fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Estrela Solitária's protests and gave Sandrinho Hoffmann a yellow card for diving instead. Nicolas Prata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandrinho Hoffmann in the 30th minute of the match. Guga Matorin made in the 32nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Fernandinho Viana however managed to control. Nicolas Prata stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sandrinho Hoffmann's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Sandrinho Hoffmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Nicolas Prata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Cachorrada's Ronaldo Moreno got a free kick in the 48th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 49th minute, Dudu Meira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estrela Solitária's supporters rose to their feet, but Dudu Meira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicolas Prata breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dominic Ramjohn was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandrinho Hoffmann in the 54th minute of play forced Cachorrada's goalkeeper Nicolas Prata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th match minute, Estrela Solitária was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willian Gaúcho to maneuver through the defense. Sandrinho Hoffmann scored 0-2 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicolas Prata, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Estrela Solitária's Túlio Maravilha was substituted for Sandrinho Hoffmann. After 75 played minutes Estrela Solitária got a freekick which was hit by Chicão Amorim. An unexpectedly hard shot by Segundo Tavio in the 78th minute of play forced Estrela Solitária's goalkeeper Benjamim Dante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 79 minutes Estrela Solitária's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Guga Matorin who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, Cachorrada's Guga Matorin got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Cachorrada's Nicolas Prata proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Cachorrada from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Estrela Solitária getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Dudu Meira hit a great ball. Nicolas Prata was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Túlio Maravilha capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Túlio Maravilha really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. The supporters of Estrela Solitária booed when Cachorrada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guga Matorin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Estrela Solitária eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
