In the 24th minute, Rafinha Trancoso reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Armando Cerezo. The goal made the score 2-0. Acácio Lara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardinho Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Jaime Patrício kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Agnaldo Mattos hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. S.C.CHUÍ's Armando Cerezo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save S.C.CHUÍ from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabinho dos Santos to strike the kick off in the second half.
