Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Carlos Meira got the match started through his kick off. In the 2nd minute of the match, Rafinha Trancoso tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gustavo Vides saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 8th minute Fabinho dos Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Vides saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, one of Ponta da Praia FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ponta da Praia FC. A collision led to Ponta da Praia FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Claudinho Cabral hit a great ball. Fabinho dos Santos's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gustavo Vides firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 19 played minutes Ponta da Praia FC got a freekick which was hit by Edmílson Travassos. With a little luck, Ponta da Praia FC's Gustavo Vides got control of the ball when Fabinho dos Santos tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Club Athletico Paulistano's Fabinho dos Santos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gustavo Vides. That made the score 1-0 after 25 minutes of play. After 28 played minutes Ponta da Praia FC got a freekick which was hit by Edmílson Travassos. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabinho dos Santos got free with Gustavo Vides in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gustavo Vides made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Fabinho dos Santos sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabinho dos Santos in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustavo Vides prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The throw-in from Glauco da Rocha in the 39th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Ponta da Praia FC's Edmílson Travassos. In the 40th minute, Fabinho dos Santos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Athletico Paulistano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. 46 minutes into the game, Rafinha Trancoso lined in a short shot 4-0 behind a frustrated Gustavo Vides.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabinho dos Santos to make the kick off. Gustavo Vides showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabinho dos Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Gustavo Vides stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabinho dos Santos's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Hermínio Gerber hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Club Athletico Paulistano's Agnaldo Mattos tried to score from far away in the 64th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Hermínio Gerber got his second yellow card in the match during the 65th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Club Athletico Paulistano booed when Ponta da Praia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermínio Gerber didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 67 minutes, Claudinho Cabral mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ponta da Praia FC and the Club Athletico Paulistano players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee gave Club Athletico Paulistano a penalty, 68 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Agnaldo Mattos, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ponta da Praia FC's Gustavo Vides. 6-0. After a defensive mix-up in Ponta da Praia FC's zone, Rafinha Trancoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustavo Vides came out of the goal and Rafinha Trancoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 76th match minute, Ponta da Praia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Meira to maneuver through the defense. In the 78thth minute of the game Fabinho dos Santos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ponta da Praia FC's Gustavo Vides was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gustavo Vides showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabinho dos Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Gustavo Vides made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabinho dos Santos in the 84th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Club Athletico Paulistano's Fabinho dos Santos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gustavo Vides narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 88 minutes into the match, Fabinho dos Santos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gustavo Vides. Ponta da Praia FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabinho dos Santos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 90th minute of the game. One of Ponta da Praia FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Club Athletico Paulistano:s goal. Gustavo Vides had in the 92ndth minute some difficulties stopping Agnaldo Mattos's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Ponta da Praia FC's Gustavo Vides played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabinho dos Santos in the 93rd minute of play. After 95 played minutes Ponta da Praia FC got a freekick which was hit by Edmílson Travassos. Gustavo Vides took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabinho dos Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Club Athletico Paulistano had played much better football throughout.
