With a couple of smart ball manuevers Natã Quintal in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilvan Sanches saved Green Squad FC from getting behind. After 8 played minutes Nova Venécia-ES got a freekick which was hit by Natã Quintal. Robinho de Salles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Barros in the 9th minute of play. Leonel Paranaense hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the last second Gilvan Sanches throw himself and got hold of the ball when Natã Quintal in the 20thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Natã Quintals short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Gilvan Sanches to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Robinho de Salles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Leonel Paranaense's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gilvan Sanches read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Natã Quintal advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-0 in the 37th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luís Gustavo Botelho got free with Gilvan Sanches in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Natã Quintal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luís Gustavo Botelho's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gilvan Sanches firmly grabbed it by the left post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonardo Barros was the one to do the kick off. The Nova Venécia-ES fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Nova Venécia-ES's Leonel Paranaense looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gilvan Sanches showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natã Quintal in the 59th minute of the match. Green Squad FC's Gilvan Sanches played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natã Quintal in the 64th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Natã Quintal in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilvan Sanches saved Green Squad FC from getting behind. After 70 minutes Green Squad FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Valdo Diniz who took care of the corner kick. Damaso Rivas thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Gilvan Sanches, a very annoying self made goal in the 71st minute which led to 3-0. Valdo Diniz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilvan Sanches having to interfere. In the 76thth minute of the game Natã Quintal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Green Squad FC's Gilvan Sanches was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nova Venécia-ES's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Valdo Diniz in the 77th minute. Nova Venécia-ES's Valdo Diniz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gilvan Sanches in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, Nova Venécia-ES's Leonel Paranaense got a free kick in the 79th minute. Robinho de Salles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeu Cosme in the 81st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Natã Quintal in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilvan Sanches prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Green Squad FC booed when Nova Venécia-ES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino Maia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonardo Barros scored 3-1 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Robinho de Salles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Natã Quintal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gilvan Sanches was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Natã Quintal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gilvan Sanches read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Luís Gustavo Botelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Nova Venécia-ES fans cheered their team off the field, for while Green Squad FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
