Jerzy Giejda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Conrado Miranda went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Conrado Miranda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itajaí Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Conrado Miranda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jerzy Giejda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Conrado Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerzy Giejda having to interfere. Gilberto Arce struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Jerzy Giejda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itajaí Football Club. In the 11th minute, Itajaí Football Club's Mino Nieto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jerzy Giejda. Jerzy Giejda yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Jerzy Giejda came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Itajaí Football Club's Conrado Miranda. But to his dismay, Conrado Miranda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 18 minutes into the match, Conrado Miranda dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jerzy Giejda, 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Nonatos United's zone, Conrado Miranda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerzy Giejda came out of the goal and Conrado Miranda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Miranda in the 23rd minute of play forced Nonatos United's goalkeeper Jerzy Giejda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Douglas Vides came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Itajaí Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Douglas Vides couldn't finish the play. Conrado Miranda who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Jerzy Giejda when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jerzy Giejda came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Itajaí Football Club's Conrado Miranda. But to his dismay, Conrado Miranda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. After 31 played minutes Itajaí Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Gilberto Arce. Conrado Miranda who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Jerzy Giejda when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 47 minutes into the game, Itajaí Football Club's Leonardo Varela nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jerzy Giejda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 8-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lauro Proença to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, Conrado Miranda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jerzy Giejda was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. The supporters of Itajaí Football Club booed when Nonatos United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benê Sousa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benê Sousa hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute, Rubens Abreu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Itajaí Football Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. The audience was convinced that Rubens Abreu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jerzy Giejda was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. In the 70th minute Itajaí Football Club were awarded a corner. Afonso Severo went to the cornerflag to take it. A very nice done corner allowed 郑常昆 to score against Jerzy Giejda in Nonatos United's goal. 11-0 after 71 minutes. Jerzy Giejda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubens Abreu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute of the match Itajaí Football Club got a corner. Nonatos United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Afonso Severo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Itajaí Football Club's Afonso Severo to fire away a dangerous shot which Jerzy Giejda despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to Itajaí Football Club getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Afonso Severo hit a great ball. When Li Wen Mo came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Itajaí Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Li Wen Mo couldn't finish the play. Nonatos United's Jerzy Giejda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Li Wen Mo in the 86th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Rubens Abreu put it in 12-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jerzy Giejda. In the 92nd minute, Rubens Abreu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jerzy Giejda was frozen by the shot and now it was 13-0. Jerzy Giejda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Eduardo da Costa went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 14-0 was the resulting score. There was no doubt that Itajaí Football Club were the better team. Itajaí Football Club's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
