The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Atakan Oykan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Li Wen Mo, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Beto Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arí Pereira in the 8th minute of play. In the 12th minute Conrado Miranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atakan Oykan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, LauerArmy's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Arce came free, but Atakan Oykan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Itajaí Football Club were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after LauerArmy's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Afonso Severo took the corner. In the 26th minute Murilo Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beto Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atakan Oykan was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Conrado Miranda capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Conrado Miranda really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Beto Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arí Pereira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. LauerArmy made a substitution. In the 40th minute, Li Wen Mo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Atakan Oykan. The goal made the score 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Murilo Cabral to strike the kick off in the second half. Atakan Oykan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Li Wen Mo in the 51st minute of the match. Beto Teixeira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Salim Lelono in the 53rd minute. 55 minutes into the match, LauerArmy's goal looked a bit too open when Mino Nieto came free, but Atakan Oykan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atakan Oykan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Varela, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. LauerArmy had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
