Michel Neves took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luan Quadros. Luan Quadros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Michel Neves might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luan Quadros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Michel Neves ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 15th minute Michel Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luan Quadros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, Luiz Faria was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Qijua F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nonatos United the free kick. After 27 played minutes Qijua F.C got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Faria. After a defensive mix-up in Qijua F.C's zone, Michel Neves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luan Quadros came out of the goal and Michel Neves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Qijua F.C getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Sydney Aparecido hit a great ball. Nonatos United's Michel Neves got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Michel Neves scored 0-6 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luan Quadros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 42nd minute, Michel Neves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nonatos United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Nonatos United's Jerzy Giejda quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mala Riaño, made in the 46th minute of the game. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sydney Aparecido to make the kick off. Qijua F.C's Luan Quadros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michel Neves in the 87th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Nonatos United's Michel Neves ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luan Quadros.
