FC VERDE-AMARELO PORCO's Jânio Paraíba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Cascajares in the 9th minute of play. A well-hit corner resulted in Claudinei Custódio heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 13th minute Mairo Tomat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eskil Vester saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jânio Paraíba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Cascajares, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. FC VERDE-AMARELO PORCO were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after October 04's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alfredão Monteiro took the corner. After a rather tough play, FC VERDE-AMARELO PORCO's Jonathan Trevisan got a free kick in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Cascajares in the 37th minute of play forced FC VERDE-AMARELO PORCO's goalkeeper Jânio Paraíba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eskil Vester came out of the goal and Reinaldo Custódio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eskil Vester made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chico Secco in the 57th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Emilio Cascajares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jânio Paraíba. FC VERDE-AMARELO PORCO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emilio Cascajares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. FC VERDE-AMARELO PORCO's Amadeu Vergílio was substituted for Reinaldo Custódio. October 04's Luís Paulo Pernambucano was substituted for Aníbal Correia. October 04's Luís Fabiano Gaspar was substituted for Andrey Nazarov.
