In the 89th play minute Maicon Palmeira came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Víktor Freire. 0-7. The audience was convinced that Maicon Palmeira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Víktor Freire was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. The Ibirama Futebol Clube fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. E. C. Uruguaiana were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
