A collision led to Batalhão do Peçanha getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Ma Kuan Yun hit a great ball. Aitor España stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ma Kuan Yun's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute, Zé Ivakin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aitor España made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ma Kuan Yun in the 14th minute of play. After 16 minutes AllRaf EC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vânderson Vasconcelos who took care of the corner kick. In the 18th minute, Christian Peixoto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute of the match Arnulfo Valencia shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Petr Čech showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Batalhão do Peçanha's Petr Čech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lauro Arce in the 25th minute of play. AllRaf EC were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Batalhão do Peçanha's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Arnulfo Valencia took the corner. After taking down the ball on AllRaf EC's corner Arnulfo Valencia fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Petr Čech quite easily take care of the ball. Aitor España made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ma Kuan Yun in the 28th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Lauro Arce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petr Čech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ma Kuan Yun in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aitor España saved AllRaf EC from getting behind. Batalhão do Peçanha were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after AllRaf EC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vânderson Vasconcelos took the corner. If Ma Kuan Yun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ma Kuan Yun in the 39th minute of play forced AllRaf EC's goalkeeper Aitor España to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lauro Arce to make the kick off. Aitor España made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ma Kuan Yun in the 56th minute of play. When Vânderson Vasconcelos fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Batalhão do Peçanha's protests and gave Vânderson Vasconcelos a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Batalhão do Peçanha getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Vânderson Vasconcelos hit a great ball. 63 minutes into the match, Ma Kuan Yun notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of AllRaf EC's Aitor España. Aitor España was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Batalhão do Peçanha's Epaminondas Baba got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Ma Kuan Yun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aitor España was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. In the 76th minute Ma Kuan Yun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aitor España saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Petr Čech made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Lauro Arce sent off a good shot on target. Bennvar Björnfot could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Petr Čech made a huge save. 96 minutes had been played when some careless play by Batalhão do Peçanha's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Arnulfo Valencia was slow to take the kick. During this time AllRaf EC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led AllRaf EC's Arnulfo Valencia to fire away a dangerous shot which Petr Čech despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the referee ended the match the Batalhão do Peçanha players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
