Gil do Valle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Xiboquinha FC. Guto Tasso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Gil do Valle made a huge save. Xiboquinha FC's Guto Tasso got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Xiboquinha FC booed when ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juvenal Pires didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gil do Valle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albano Eladio in the 22nd minute of the match. Gil do Valle came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Xiboquinha FC's Guto Tasso. But to his dismay, Guto Tasso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albano Eladio in the 31st minute of play forced ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ's goalkeeper Gil do Valle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Juvenal Corrêa fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ's protests and gave Juvenal Corrêa a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Juvenal Corrêa hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the match, ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ's goal looked a bit too open when Jacob Preuss came free, but Gil do Valle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guto Tasso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Gil do Valle made a huge save. After 38 played minutes ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ got a freekick which was hit by Mané Ramalho. The Xiboquinha FC fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Xiboquinha FC's Tage Backlund looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jacob Preuss fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil do Valle having to interfere. 48 minutes into the match, Tage Backlund notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ's Gil do Valle. Gil do Valle was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tage Backlund to make the kick off. ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ's Gil do Valle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guto Tasso in the 55th minute of play. After some careless play in the ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ defense, Tage Backlund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gil do Valle. The ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gil do Valle should have stopped the shot. 68 minutes into the match, ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ's goal looked a bit too open when Jacob Preuss came free, but Gil do Valle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guto Tasso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gil do Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacob Preuss, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Gil do Valle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duda Nesta in the 77th minute of play. After 78 minutes of play, Xiboquinha FC's Jacob Preuss made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gil do Valle was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gil do Valle didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jacob Preuss went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ's Gil do Valle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tage Backlund in the 90th minute of play. Sílvio Favoretto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Gil do Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xiboquinha FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
