With a little luck, Motta Futebol Clube's Aírton de Lima got control of the ball when Henrique Borges tried to sneak it across the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Henrique Borges sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aírton de Lima narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The corner ended in Naldo Valladares almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Motta Futebol Clube's Aírton de Lima did a great save. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Lu Ladron sped through Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hansjörg Wastl. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Naldo Valladares in the 27th minute. The corner ended in Naldo Valladares almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Motta Futebol Clube's Aírton de Lima did a great save. Henrique Borges could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Aírton de Lima made a huge save. 34 minutes into the match, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Válbson de Alcântara came free, but Hansjörg Wastl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Motta Futebol Clube were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dudu Hermes took the corner. After a rather tough play, Motta Futebol Clube's Válbson de Alcântara got a free kick in the 40th minute. Felippe Pitta hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Hansjörg Wastl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artur Sabóia, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The supporters of Motta Futebol Clube booed when Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wen Ying Di didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hansjörg Wastl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artur Sabóia in the 48th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Válbson de Alcântara to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Artur Sabóia could shoot a difficult shot in the 52nd minute, which Hansjörg Wastl however easily saved by the left post. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Hansjörg Wastl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ from getting a goal against them. Aírton de Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrique Borges in the 61st minute of the match. In the 65th minute Henrique Borges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aírton de Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th match minute, Motta Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kılıç Tunçöven to maneuver through the defense. Aírton de Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrique Borges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute, Henrique Borges left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henrique Borges in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aírton de Lima saved Motta Futebol Clube from getting behind. Hansjörg Wastl made an important save on a dangerous shot by Válbson de Alcântara in the 76th minute. Aírton de Lima came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Henrique Borges. But to his dismay, Henrique Borges quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Hansjörg Wastl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luizão Domingues, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After some careless play in the Motta Futebol Clube defense, Henrique Borges kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aírton de Lima. The Motta Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aírton de Lima should have stopped the shot. Hansjörg Wastl made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Gilmar Garcia sent off a good shot on target. Hansjörg Wastl made an important save on a dangerous shot by Armandinho Carvalho in the 95th minute. The Motta Futebol Clube players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
