In the 12th minute, one of Motta Futebol Clube:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Motta Futebol Clube. Motta Futebol Clube:s Juninho Freire showed great skill when he stopped Noel Furlan:s penalty. In the 15th match minute, Templários MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorio Dimas to maneuver through the defense. Motta Futebol Clube's Juninho Freire played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Guedes in the 20th minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, Jorge Vieira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Motta Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Templários MZC the free kick. Juninho Freire made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Noel Furlan sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Motta Futebol Clube's zone, Noel Furlan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juninho Freire came out of the goal and Noel Furlan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Templários MZC's Roger Guedes got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd match minute, Templários MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé da Silva to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute 吕震强 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laze Gjoka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Motta Futebol Clube booed when Templários MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Meira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zeca Esteves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Laze Gjoka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 吕震强 in the 53rd minute of the match. Juninho Freire didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Noel Furlan went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Templários MZC made a substitution. Zula Marciewicz replaced Noel Furlan. Mac Oña made in the 63rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Marcelinho Paulista however managed to control. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zeca Esteves in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Laze Gjoka prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Juninho Freire showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Guedes, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. A collision led to Templários MZC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Felipe Meira hit a great ball. Motta Futebol Clube's Marcinho Paes was substituted for Elias Freire. 69 minutes into the match, Templários MZC's goal looked a bit too open when 吕震强 came free, but Laze Gjoka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th match minute, Templários MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Lira to maneuver through the defense. Juninho Freire showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Guedes in the 76th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zula Marciewicz in the 78th minute of play forced Motta Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Juninho Freire to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guilherme Arana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juninho Freire made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zula Marciewicz in the 87th minute of play.
